ABA Therapy near West Omaha, Omaha, NE
Stride was born out of a deep desire to help people with autism. Our founder was able to see how early intervention and personalized care can help create much-needed opportunities for independence and social engagement as they grew up together.
Our comprehensive preschool program was carefully designed based on the latest autism therapy research. Because we believe that preschool children have the greatest need, our center is able to best serve them. Your child will be more successful if they get the help they need as soon as possible. By aiding them with intensive ABA therapy when they’re young, we have the greatest probability of success in building a strong foundation from which they can grow and thrive.
Our West Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska Autism Program
Stride’s Program is a full-day program for children aged 2-6 years old. It’s located near West Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska. Two core approaches are the basis of a typical day at our center.
One-on-One Therapy
Stride provides your child with hours of focused attention tailored to their needs. To help reduce potential distractions and allow your child to get the most possible benefit from working with their therapist, we use thoughtfully-designed instruction areas.
These sessions allow your child to focus on their individual goals and address their needs in a positive and productive way. Stride’s BCBAs are a great way to help your child in many areas. They can improve their self-care and communication skills as well as decrease maladaptive behavior.
Group Activities
Autism sufferers face the greatest challenges in socialization and communication. Stride offers children the chance to play and interact with peers in a controlled, yet organic environment. This helps them meet their challenges head-on. Children can have fun and learn from their peers through activities like art projects and free play.
We offer a wide range of activities in our large playgrounds. Circle time is also incorporated daily. Our primary goal is to improve your child’s school readiness and provide them with the tools and practice they need to build positive relationships with other classmates.
Our program is efficient and effective. Each day is used to meet your child’s individual needs. If you’d like to get a general idea of how a typical day at Stride is structured, please take a look at the sample schedule provided on Our Program page.
How Our ABA Therapists Can Help Your Child
Applied behavior analysis therapy (ABA) is a key component of our program. It has been extensively evaluated and proven to be effective for people on the autism spectrum. ABA starts with an in-depth assessment. This allows us to understand the nature and scope of your child’s needs. Following the assessment, our team devises an individualized program and implements it fully in our safety conscious, enjoyable and pleasant setting. This will help your child develop their skills and prevent them from engaging in bad behavior that could make their lives more difficult. We want your child to be successful in school and in life.
We would love to meet with you if you think our program is a good fit. You can get started by clicking here or calling us at (515) 207-5251.
